Davide Defends his PhD

We’re delighted to celebrate Davide’s successful PhD defense!

Davide defended his doctoral research, marking an important milestone after four years of dedicated work, research, and collaboration. His interdisciplinary dissertation brings together medieval literature, discourse analysis, and digital methods to investigate the discourse of love in late medieval texts. Using computational linguistic approaches, his research explores how concepts such as friendship, spiritual love, and sexual love intersect across medieval authors, while also considering the broader value and limitations of computational methods for literary scholarship.
